Announcing our most exciting Chef Demonstrations at Porkstock 2016!

We are extremely grateful to Charlie Hodson from Charlie’s Norfolk Food Heroes who is both our Patron and also organises our brilliant chef demos each year. If you haven’t seen them before, then you should make sure you do as they are fun, hands on and this year we have some really great chefs coming along to show us how it is done.

All of the demos will be taking place during the Daytime Festival at White House Farm on Saturday 10th September.

VANESSA SCOTT: NORFOLK’S OWN COOK BOOK. Vanessa is a passionate local food campaigner and Director & chef at the award winning STRATTONS HOTEL.

MARY KEMP: NORFOLK’S OWN COOK BOOK. Farmer’s wife and cookery writer and a passionate advocate for locally produced seasonal food. Her cooking and writing is based on using the finest and freshest local ingredients.

SCOTT TAYLOR (INFUSIONS 4 CHEFSand MATT & GRANT from the Fruit Pig Company will be once more doing their very popular Pigs Head Charcuterie demo.

TIM ALLEN will be telling his pigs tail. Tim is a local farmer, a brilliant supporter and supplier of pork to Porkstock.

MARK POYNTON: Chef/Owner of Michelin starred Alimentum in Cambridge will be showing off his starry skills.

HARDEEP SINGH KOHLI :  British writer, Radio & Television presenter. No more introduction needed…

ALAN PATON: Our amazing supporter from the beginning all the way from Essex where he describes himself as the pork loving Exec Chef of Stoke By Nayland Hotel, Spa & Golf Course.

You will also be treated to a butchery masterclass with Icarus Hines and Jamie Archer – both amazing local butchers and previous winners of Battle of the Bangers in Norwich.

Last but not least, we will be featuring a demonstartion from Andrew Baker and volunteers from The FEED – a social enterprise in Norwich helping homeless folk get back into work through a mutual love of food.
